What is Hypnosis?

Hypnosis is a state of mind in which a person experience, a sense of deep relaxation whilst they body becomes completely relaxed.  This altered state of awareness allows access to the subconscious mind, having relaxed the mind. It is not a state of deep sleep.



What is Hypnotherapy?

Hypnotherapy is the treatment of the emotional and psychological condition of the mind, which could be undesirable feelings and unwanted habits.  The purpose is to give alternatives to the person unsatisfactory ways of thinking, feelings or behaviours.  Hypnotherapy can help the person become more accepting, both of themselves and others.  

Hypnotherapy involves inducing a client into hypnosis, which is a trance like condition.  In this state, the conscious mind is suppressed and subconscious mind is revealed, the therapist is then able to make suggestions that are appropriate to their problems.  This is known as Hypnotherapy, Hypnotherapy is aimed to re-programme patterns or behaviour within the mind.
