Weight loss and eating disorders

The key to achieving your ideal weight is to eat a healthy balanced diet and take regular exercise, but as we know for the majority of people suffering from a weight problem can be a nightmare.  Hypnosis can help in many ways.

The failure to lose weight can lead to despair and which them causing them to seek comfort and further overeat, leading to more weight gain and more despair, becoming a vicious circle.  Dieting as we know have a short term effect, because as soon as you stop dieting you revert back to you old eating habits. 

Someone with a weight problem has, over time, programmed their subconscious to eat in a particular way and when the hunger has been satisfied the subconscious sends a feeling of satisfaction, so you no longer feel the urge to eat, it when this feeling is overridden that you need to seek the extra satisfaction.  often this extra urge is to compensate for something missing in our lives, or it could be just some kind of unhappy experience. 



To change this behaviour pattern we try and reach the source of the desire and then persuade the subconscious to see that the habit is of no benefit to you and transfer the over- eating into something that is more advantageous and beneficial to a healthier lifestyle.
